Mathias Granberg Appointed New CEO of Granberg AS
Bjoa, 1 December 2025 – Granberg AS announces that Mathias Granberg will assume the role of CEO as of 1 December 2025. He succeeds his father, Ole Marthon Granberg, becoming the third generation to lead the family business. At the same time, the company is creating a new position of Chief Operating Officer (COO) to further strengthen day-to-day operations. The role will be filled by Anna Klette Steinsland.
Third generation takes over
Mathias Granberg grew up in the company and has for many years been closely involved in both operations and strategic development. In recent years, he has served as Sales Manager, playing a key role in the company’s growth and market position.
“It is with great pride that we carry the family legacy forward. Mathias has strong business acumen, knows the company in depth and has demonstrated clear leadership qualities. I am confident that he is the right person to safeguard and further develop the company,” says outgoing CEO and Chair of the Board, Ole Marthon Granberg.
A strengthened management team
Ole Marthon Granberg will continue as the company’s main shareholder and Chair of the Board. He is now relocating to Switzerland but will remain available during a transition period to ensure continuity and support.
In connection with the transition, he also highlights the strength of the new leadership team:

Mathias is looking forward to further developing the company in his new role.

New role to strengthen operations
To strengthen the organization and support the new CEO, Granberg is now establishing the role of COO. Anna Klette Steinsland will assume the position and will be responsible for further developing and streamlining day-to-day operations.
Anna has previously worked as HR Manager at Granberg and has extensive experience as an advisor and board member in other companies. She brings solid leadership competence and valuable insight into structure, organization and workplace culture.
“Anna has a unique combination of operational experience and strategic understanding. She knows the company well and will be an important resource in the further development of the organization,” says Mathias Granberg.
