Polyurethane (PU) is a thermoplastic elastomer. It is a highly elastic material with good anti-friction characteristics. Glove palms coated with solid polyurethane are thin, straight, and flexible. The palms coated with polyurethane microfoam are soft, water-resistant, and lubricant-resistant. Polyurethane microfoam is air permeable; therefore, hands remain cool and dry. Polyurethane microfoam is flexible with great adhesion in dry environments.
